Position: Line Cook
Reports To: Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, General Manager
FLSA Status: Full-time, Exempt
This position will challenge you and adapt your culinary skills to our Polynesian fare! As a line cook, you’ll be responsible for the preparation, execution, and plating of dishes in accordance with the Trader Vic’s standard.

Take stock of current inventory and prepare daily prep list.
Prepare all required mise en place following recipes.
Ensure station is clean & tidy at all times
Cook and serve dishes under supervision of the Chef and Sous Chefs.
Attempt to accommodate any special request made by the guest to the best of the restaurant’s capability
Read order tickets thoroughly, with attention to order time, delivery time (if applicable), modifications, allergies, etc.
Assist Chef and Sous Chef with training new staff.
Coordinate with other line cooks to prepare for service.
Report any mishaps in the kitchen.
Be reliable and punctual at all times.
Participate in training activities as required.
Work with FOH staff to communicate special order requests, timing, and changes
Undertake and follow through on any reasonable task or request made by Management.
Be fully aware of restaurant’s fire and safety regulations and abide by them
Be courteous and professional with all colleagues.
Inform Management of all complaints or incidents.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Formal education with a culinary background or a related field.

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour + Tips
