Celebrate the “Real Mai Tai Day” August 30th!

On Wednesday, August 30, Trader Vic’s Emeryville will celebrate what it calls “the true National Mai Tai Day” by offering each adult guest his or her first Mai Tai of the evening for ony 44 cents — commemorating 1944, the year during which globe-trotting restaurateur Victor “The Trader” Bergeron invented this iconic, bittersweet, citrusy cocktail. Señor Pico & Trader Vic’s in May

We put Señor Pico & the Trader in a room together with a few Pinky Gonzalez cocktails and asked for some recipes. A few drinks later (because really what kind of dirty stinker keeps count?!) they decided for the month of May to offer you specialities from both restaurants, Señor Pico & Trader Vic’s! Ole! Señor Pico is a Tex-Mexican & Early Californian restaurant concept created by Trader Vic in 1964 located in Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco.
